There is still much more content to come, with rumors of a Zombies Chronicles sequel release that remakes all the Victis maps after failing to release during Black Ops 4's timeframe. Season Four has officially launched, and it is confirmed we will be getting the first round-based Zombies map since Firebase Z in Mauer Der Toten. It reset the timeline and started the storyline fresh. Updated Jby Johnny Garcia: Call Of Duty Zombies is about halfway through its sixth installment with Black Ops: Cold War. On the other side of the coin, some maps are so easy it doesn't even feel rewarding mowing down mobs.
Some of the maps are incredibly difficult and feel almost impossible to get to high rounds on. A minimum of four maps appeared in each game (usually more). With how long the Zombies game mode has been going on for, appearing in every Treyarch Call Of Duty since World At War, many maps have been released for it. Some nice touches which make The Swan a truly professional zombie experience.Call Of Duty's Zombies mode has been going strong for many years since its introduction in World At War. Another example is the sonar fence, which acts as trap against zombies but also interferes with the players HUD, scrambling the screen. For example, the "no grenades" sign on the window of the underwater room, which if destroyed will flood the pack-a-punch room pushing you back up to the surface. It's the small details which really polish this map off. There are also new traps and features such as blast doors and the sonar fence. Many of the best boss zombies including Avogadro and Napalm zombies make an appearance. These include BLOPS 2 weapons and perk machines which obviously postdate the original WaW maps. It combines a lot of the hard work from the modding community into one downloadable map for WaW.
Usually you get a handful of ideas, some of which are based off Treyarch, but never do they get rolled into one complete map. It's rare that a custom zombies map comes with so many features rolled into one.
